Pause or deactivate your account

Need a break? Pause your account to hide your profile without losing anything. Nothing is deleted, and you can come back whenever you’re ready.
How to pause
- Open Filo and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Settings.
- Under Account, tap Pause Account.
- Confirm with Pause.
What happens while you’re paused
- Your profile is hidden from Discover — nobody new can find you
- You stop receiving new likes and matches
- Your photos, voice intro, matches, conversations and verification badge are all kept exactly as they are
- You can still open the app and read your existing chats
Pausing is completely reversible. Nothing is erased, and your trust badge does not need to be earned again.
How to come back
- Open Filo and go to Profile → Settings.
- Under Account, tap Resume Account.
Your profile returns to Discover straight away, exactly as you left it.
Can’t get into the app?
If you have lost access to your phone number, submit the form below and we will pause the account for you. We will email you once your profile is hidden.
Pausing is not deleting
Pause hides your profile and keeps your data. It is reversible at any time.
Delete closes your account and erases your personal data. It is permanent and cannot be undone — see what deletion removes.
Your subscription keeps running
Pausing your account does notpause or cancel a paid subscription. Billing is handled by the App Store or Google Play, so if you don’t want to be charged while you’re away, cancel the subscription in your store’s settings before you pause.
